With the second round of Biennial Transparency Reports (BTRs) approaching, IIED and the Least Developed Countries (LDC) Group invite you to join a two-part webinar series exploring LDCs’ experiences in preparing their BTRs, with a particular focus on adaptation and loss and damage reporting. With around two-thirds of LDCs still preparing their first BTRs, these webinars offer a timely opportunity to learn directly from frontrunner countries that have already navigated the process. Through practical examples and candid reflections, speakers will share insights on:

• Challenges encountered during BTR preparation
• Good practices and lessons learned
• Technical expertise and resources required
• Institutional arrangements that support effective reporting
• Approaches to reporting on adaptation and loss and damage

The webinars will follow a panel discussion format, featuring representatives from LDCs who will share their experiences and answer questions from participants.
