Munalula K Yowela was appointed as Coordinator of the LDC Group Secretariat on 1 March 2025.

Professional Experience

Munalula is a development professional with over a decade of experience in project management, monitoring and evaluation, policy analysis, and impact evaluation. She has worked extensively in programme management and coordination, partnership building, and strategic advocacy, particularly in sustainable development, resource mobilization, climate change, and poverty reduction. She has collaborated with multilateral organisations, government institutions, and development partners to drive impactful initiatives.

Education

Munalula holds a Master’s degree in Development and Economics from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa, and a BSc in Agricultural Economics from the University of Zambia.
